Difficulty level not set for this Post
So something that has been irritating me is how difficult it is to setup multiple SSL websites using a wildcard cert, IIS and one IP address. If you’ve been trying to get this working, I’m going to assume you’re already familiar with a wildcard certificate(UCC, SAN, ETC). Most tutorials I’ve found have you use the ‘appcmd set site /site.name…’ to manually add https bindings to the 2nd. 3rd and so on sites. Check out this tutorial and your life will be simplified 10 fold.
